Working Principle

Cross-Counter-Flow Plate Heat Exchanger operates on the principle of heat exchange between hot and cold air that flows partially in cross-flow and partially in counter-flow. Two adjacent aluminum plates form a supply-air or exhaust-air duct; the supply air passes through one side of the aluminum plate while the exhaust air passes through the other side, so that heat is transferred through the aluminum plate from the hotter side to the colder side, keeping the supply air and exhaust air safely separated.
