The unit can be optionally equipped with a heat-recovery module that recovers energy from the exhaust air, making operation more energy-efficient. In addition, all units adopt a modular design—under partial cooling-load conditions, only some modules need to operate, further conserving energy, and a fault in a single module will not affect operation of the entire system.

The unit can be configured with additional functional sections—such as filtration, oxygen-enrichment, and dehumidification sections—according to customer requirements.

Roter's DX units feature a sectional (modular) structure that allows the unit to be transported to the site in separate sections, simplifying delivery. The unit supplies air to the indoor space entirely through ducts, eliminating the need for terminal units, cooling towers, cooling-water pumps, and other auxiliary equipment—making installation straightforward. In addition, the unit is equipped with access doors that open easily for convenient inspection and maintenance.
